About the Presenter:  Keith Backman

Keith Backman is the Consultant Manager for Dellavalle Laboratory, Inc. with an M.S. degree from UC Davis, he has been advising growers regarding nutrient management, salinity management, irrigation, and water quality in Central California and the Central Coast since 1974. In addition to being a Certified Professional Horticulturist and Certified Crop Advisor, he is on the CCA California State Board, and the International CCA Board Exam Committee.

Keith is also an editor for the Western Fertilizer Handbook through the Western Plant Health Assn. Soil Improvement Committee. His lecturing background includes presentations at UC Davis, CSU Fresno, Cal Poly SLO, Western Nutrient Mgt Conf., Western Plant Health Assn., Fertilizer Research & Education Program (CDFA), Cal Assn of Pest Control Advisors, American Society of Agronomy, and many different grower and commodity group meetings. Dellavalle Laboratory provides consulting and analytical services for California agriculture thru offices in Fresno, Hanford, Davis, and Paso Robles.
