California Ag Plastic Recycling – Video
The on-farm pick-up service is now available to all Toro® growers with qualifying Toro® drip tape purchases (exclusions apply). The ag plastic recycling service is a result of Toro’s ongoing commitment to help farmers maximize production with efficient, sustainable drip irrigation practices. Toro has partnered with Revolution, a national leader in ag plastic recycling and manufacturing in the United States.
Toro Drip Tape that is recycled through this program is washed and reprocessed into post-consumer polyethylene resin and then is used in part to manufacture Toro drip irrigation products. Toro and Revolution are happy to offer this closed loop solution to growers in an effort to promote extended producer responsibility by diverting single-use products from California landfills and reducing demand for petroleum-based virgin materials.
