On Friday, June 26, 2015 at 1:00PM (Pacific Time), the Grange Network will be hosting a 60-minute, FREE webinar to review the essential material components of micro-irrigation / drip irrigation tubing and discuss key material attributes that contribute to high performance tubing. Included in the webinar will be a an overview of how polyethylene is produced, its key characteristics/attributes and considerations when selecting the appropriate grade for micro-irrigation applications. Mark Jablonka, Research Scientist in the Performance Plastics Technical Service and Development (TS&D) group at The Dow Chemical Company, will lead the discussion.

About the Presenter: Mark Jablonka
Mark Jablonka is a Research Scientist in the Performance Plastics Technical Service and Development (TS&D) group at The Dow Chemical Company and is based in Freeport, Texas. In this role he leads polyethylene material development activities for the micro-irrigation market segment.
Mark has spent the last 17 years in various roles across Dow’s polyolefin business. Before moving into his current role in 2013, Mark led the polyolefin material development activities for the caps and closure market segment. Since 2005 he has supported packaging and industrial applications involving the conversion of polyethylene into a variety of useful articles.
Mark earned a bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering from the University at Buffalo and a master’s in chemical engineering and MBA from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.
